During his time as a prosecutor, Daniel DeLimon also worked to free the innocent and wrongfully accused, fighting for the release of incarcerated individuals who were wrongly accused and incarcerated on murder charges. Throughout his career, Mr. DeLimon also taught and trained hundreds of lawyers and other law enforcement personnel in topics ranging from criminal investigation, crime scene processing, forensic evidence collection, trial preparation, and every aspect of presenting and arguing cases in front of a jury.
In 2020, Mr. DeLimon left the District Attorney's Office and founded his own criminal defense firm, DeLimon Law, with the goal of restoring more balance to a system that was heavily tilted in favor of the government, the prosecution, and conviction, and "saving the lives" of anyone facing serious criminal charges. Throughout the years, he has successfully defended his clients by thoroughly and systematically deconstructing the cases against them, identifying breaking points, and preparing and executing a relentless plan of attack against the case. Mr. DeLimon's experience gives him a unique insight into these cases that allows him to exploit investigative and prosecution errors. Mr. DeLimon's work ethic and experience in the field and in the courtroom allows him to cross examine witnesses against his clients in a systematic, strategic, and destructive fashion, always with the goal of getting to the truth, and what really did or did not occur. Mr. DeLimon is especially unrelenting and unwavering in the defense of client's who have been falsely accused.
Using tese methods, Mr. DeLimon has successfully represented hundreds of clients, achieving dismissals, charge reductions, and favorable resolutions in cases ranging from misdemeanors to serious felony allegations, including murder, sexual assault, rape, and three-strikes cases. He has repeatedly secured "not guilty" verdicts in high stakes jury trials and has repeatedly prevailed in cases where his clients were facing multiple life sentences and lifetime consequences like sexual registration. Quite simply, Mr. DeLimon wins, he wins often, and he wins big in high stakes litigation.
